Has anyone tried this? I heard about it a week or so ago but never actually saw it in stores. Then I made my monthly sojourn to Winco two days ago and I saw a whole pallet of it. I got the zero one because I actually prefer the taste of zeros.
Trying to pinpoint how it tastes, I was reminded of this time I picked up some of those water drink mix packets in root beer flavor. Well, they tasted terrible alone. I got the bright idea to add seltzer water to it, thinking it would give it what it was missing, that soda carbonation. I was wrong. It didn't improve it in any way.
And that's what this soda tastes like, the bland concoction I created some years ago in my kitchen. It's like it's taunting me now. It reminds me of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, when you kill an important character and either have to live with your poor choices or start again from a previous save.

This is what making that drink felt like. Now I must suffer the doomed world I created, via this A&W Ice Cream Sundae drink.
