Hip-HopFrom a very young age, Hip-Hop music had always been in Samuel's life, via the music that played in cars, to songs on the radio. However, it wasn't until 1996 that Samuel really began paying attention to the music. It was around this time that a friend handed Samuel a dubbed tape of Notorious B.I.G.'s Ready to Die. He was immediately hooked, and it was off to the races. From there, Samuel collected as many tapes as he could, bartering with friends and spending the money he made working at Burger King to collect the deep cut mixtapes and bootlegs from the store. Samuel subscribed to as many Hip-Hop magazines as he could, soaking up knowledge about the art. That was the beginning of a lifelong love affair.
